AA and AAA batteries... i.e. baby's toys, televison remote control's batteries, camera batteries, etc etc etc

Of course.. I charge my FEDA's batt using that too.

yeah nic, i also always scout the local HDB area hardware shops for my basic stuff nowadays. as good as those found in hobby shops, but much cheaper. those hardware shops in downtown area charge much more than the HDB area shops. i found stuff like hex wrenches for my glow plug in many different sizes for only $4. you should try IMM. they've got plenty of good tools for good prices.
