Practically a collector's item now. This docile yet responsive foam high-winger would be a perfect first trainer for anyone wanting to progress from RC flight-sims to actual field flying.
Comes in its original box with its included 27MHz Tx and instruction manual. When the original Rx pack malfunctioned, it was the perfect opportunity to replace it with my own Rx, mounted servos, and add a 30A brushed ESC to control the original geared 280 motor, essentially moving it from 2ch to 3ch. control. This is the setup I flew with back then, and it was such a joy to fly!
Recently replaced the 18T pinion of the motor, and restored the elevator hinge (replacing the living hinge with CA hinges).
Specs: Wingspan: 860mm. Controls: Rudder, Elevator and throttle. Current weight: ~400g with an 800mAh 2S Lipo. Could go below 400g by using a 500mAh Lipo. The plane is not registered.
You just need to add your own 3-4ch Rx, flight 500-800mAh 2S Lipo battery (currently Deans connector), and rubber bands for mounting the wing.
Asking for just $10 for this good ol' baby. Sad to let it go, but hoping it will serve as a first trainer for some young budding entrant to RC flying.
