Hi,

The second shipment of SK720 (BE) and GPS have just arrived in Singapore.

SK-540 Clear

Hi,

The Skookum SK-540 Clear version FBL is now available at Zenm Tech. This is the plastic version of the standard metal case SK-540. It has all the functions of the SK-540 except the governor and bank switching features. You can upgrade to full SK-540 features through Skookum's website. The SK-540 Clear is 4g lighter and 20% cheaper as compared to metal SK-540.

The new SK software/firmware has been released.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THIS RELEASE:

* There is a new setting on the “Drive System” tab, “Heli Size”. You MUST set this to get good performance!
* If you have an SK-GPS unit, please also update its firmware.
* Owners of an SK-540 purchased before 2013 should connect a BEC or battery during the firmware update.
* If you lose your setup file for any reason, a backup copy can be found in the install directory at “c:\program files\skookum robotics\”

* Added UDI (JR Xbus support) receiver mode
* Support for the 7008 Futaba receiver’s version of sbus1 protocol
* Support for Sbus2 (needs a 2-3k resistor between signal and ground to be reliable!)
* Support for Graupner receiver protocol
* DMSS receiver mode improved

* Better cyclic and tail handling for sport/3D flying
* Expanded Multicopter support, better handling
* Aux channels mapping changed to allow 4 control/gain channels
* Governor gain option, governor disabled with < 2% gain.
* Lower servo current draw
* Higher max temperature limit
* "Pitch Boost" option
* Smoother cyclic bank switching
* Allows you to set faster servo speeds
* Option to support mechanically-linear servos
