Qn on tamiya thread lock application?

Hi I hav a query on the above.
Currently I am abt to fix the leopard drive sprocket to the hull n read that I need to apply liquid thread lock to the small screw that will fasten the sprocket to the drive shaft. My qn is do I apply as instructed cos I am afraid if later I need to take out the sprocket fr the shaft I may not b able to do so.. 8( anyne can advise? Thanks
