Advice needed for faulty tamiya tank

Hi there, first of all thanks for opening this up,
okay i own a kt, while tuning it up, my barrel keeps moving forward and backward about 4 times after firing, is the problem due to the mechanism or the electronic portion of it? If so, hopefully, how do i go about it?

your switch holder on your recoil unit is dented(green switch is not engage)
bent it untill it touch the switch
