Putrajaya RC Event 20-21 April'13

Hi guys, just want to share with Daddy Hobby friends. I'd like to extend our local RC event invitation here.

Putrajaya Authority wants to create a One Stop RC Center at Putrajaya Precinct 6 includes air, land & water. As a kick start 1st edition was a successful (16-17 Feb)

Next RC event will be on 20-21 April and another event in Jun.

For this coming 20-21 April RC activities as below:

Land-
Buggy 1/8 nitro (National League Buggy Race)
Fee: MYR 160
Drift
Fee: MYR 50
Facilities: Tent, power supply,control tower,

Air-
Funfly/static demo planes/Helis, Night flying, float plane @ nearby lake.
Competition: heli: Figure 8, Plane: spot landing, limbo rock, DIY: plane (build & fly)
Facilities: tent,power supply,table, camping site.
Fee: so far it's free(subjuct to changes)

Water
RC Sailing
Competition: IOM,Seawind/open class
Speed boat; Nitro,Gas & EP
Competition: race by classes
Fee: so far it's free(subjuct to changes)

other facilities: Swimming pool, toilets, Hotel-Pullman Hotel (within walking distance) Water activities: canoeing, sailing laser, optimist.sightseeing with ferry-private boat -Dondang Sayang);

Registration is limited
Plane,heli, multi rotor : 300pax
buggy 1/8 off road : 150 pax
Kereta drift : 100 pax
RCSailing : 30 pax
Power Boat : 50 pax
DIY kapalterbang : 20 pax

Our neighbors are really hardcore into rc. They hv sumtin that we sorely lack: space.

For your info current runaway will be reserved for heli, while new runaway for plane-jet will be built soon just behind of the bushes ( behind the high trees), soon half of the flying space will be over the lake, can do low passes over the lake or do water skimmer by landing gear or rudder-inverted fly..have guts do you? he he
This area will be as 1 stop RC center. Your RC sailboat kaki used to race here -infront of the grandstand facing the lake since 2008 (yearly sailing race event - class optimist, laser, 420 and rc sailing: IOM,Seawind class. mostly dominated by your Singaporean rc skippers-with cash prizes provided, previously 1st RM600, 2nd RM400, 3rd RM300.
