How do i hook my MuiltiTester to Check Current DRAW?

    HELP!
    anyone?

You hook it up in series with the connection as opposed to parallel connection for voltage testing

Huh? How would you be able to check the current draw without connecting to the esc?

          - -------LIPOLY-------ESC--------------MOTOR

          Right?

correct.... but if you're testing to make sure your amp draw doesn't exceed the cell's rating, then the ampmeter should be between the batt and the esc.

Now that I think of it, I wouldn't recommend connecting the ampmeter between the esc and the motor. The ESC's output to the motor is using pulse width modulation to control the speed of the motor. The ampmeter night not read the amp draw correctly.

Best to connect it between the batt and the esc.

              Hi all

My recommedation is do this instead:

              -------LIPOLY----AMPMETER----ESC-------------MOTOR

The reason I said so is because 1st is similar to what AceViperX said and the 2nd thing is that u are measuring the actual current drawn by motor + ESC.

                + -------LIPOLY---- + AMPMETER - ----ESC-------------MOTOR

                    To add to the pot

                    - -------LIPOLY----- AMPMETER+ ---ESC-------MOTOR

Here we measure the feedback current. The advantages is that the Ampmeter's resistance will have less of an effect on the acuracy of the current reading. If you put in on the positive side, the ampmeter's resistance might cause the current being read to be lower than it really is.
