    I'm shopping for a good 40A brushless ESC.
    I wonder which is a good one, preferable sold in local hobby shop.

              For economical and reliable, go for Hobbywing 40A.

              Cheap and good. But of course, compared to Castle Creations, the throttle response is not that fast.

                u could try HobbyWing ESC from JetHobby.

                It comes seperately with a programmer card also.
