hello, thanks for your pm. As much as I would like to help, my plate is full. Also I fly mode 2 which would be a problem for you unless you would like to be part of the minority.

I believe dhjb, has a good set up to help new comers...pls contact them. For professional tutoring as in a fee is involded, YFC I think might be able to help. Otherwise there are a few professional freelancing model pilot instructor that works with aermodelling clubs in school.

Personally, I feel the rc community in singapore is helpful enough to help you start and coach for free. Woodland and Jalan Bahar has a very good beginner coaching community.

We are specifically looking for mode2. But what is DHJB?

In anycase, I understand that the RC community is helpful enough as I myself have received kind offers to help when I was still a total newbie. However, I cannot simply turn up at a FF and tell ppl I have a $10 or 20K plane and look for experts to fly it for me (close to 10yrs at least). I'm more looking for someone who is very experienced since we already have beginner pilots here in our school.

One might ask, why not have the beginner pilots get better? Then they can fly the aircraft themselves. Of course, we have thought of that. But there is a time constraint as well. As with any form of research, we want to move forward as fast as we can if the funds permit it. Now that we have a small little budget, we're using it to look for an expert. Any takers?

P.S. We already have a confirmed mode 2 pilot to teach us. He is on standby. I am doing the recruitment in the forum because we prefer mode 1.

I'm sure there was no malice or any undermining intended. Just a casual statement perhaps.

The SYFC is a NON PROFIT organisation with the objective of instilling an interests in aviation for the youth of Singapore.

His comments implies that "For a Fee" the instructors will do any favours ! ...I'm sorry, this is not right, .....pple' get sued for unbased comments like that !

I've still not heard from him, what qualifies him to make such a statement or if he is misled, how did it came about.

I'm still looking. Like I said, I already have someone on standby in mode 1. But I'm still looking for a mode 2 person. Some have expressed interest but we have not be able to strike a deal with anyone yet.

Yup, ....maybe he doesn't know that if he anyhow "wack some words" just to make it look as if he has some authority, he could be sued for damages.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and let pple' think you're dumb then to open it and prove them RIGHT !
