Got a F550 hexa .... but it's been on "printed to warehouse and packing" status for the last 6 days lol... damit making me all anxious!

I wanted to buy a few F450/F330 frames as well.. but didnt have enough weight left in all my orders.... I always max out my orders at 6kg so that I get economies of scale on shipping cost.

You can't exactly better that by much! muahaha.... hobbyking's max order weight is 5999 grams! and my biggest order is already 5998 grams lol.... I added some random stuff i probably didn't really need to make the weight haha...

once u go past 4999g you are already paying the maximum shipping rate anyway.. so I may as well be efficient right?

Multiwii Pro FC - FAIL to fly

ok after setting up ...above thread

Load multiwii GUI and calibrate ACC and calibrate MAG

Bring xcoptor to the field , xcoptor motor start up smothly (respond to throttle control) and decided to punch it up.

X Coptor tends to flip to the left side, (on field check motor wiring D2, D3, D5, D6 correct connection), on transmitter check trim and rev botton check (all done) TX AUX "on" (level , alt hold , mag).
come home check aurdino 1.0.3 for verify "no error", follow reload the software and back to multiwii GUI and calibrate ACC and Calibrate MAG.

Second time in the field still the samething happen ... anyone know the problems?

bro... do you even read my replies?

Your problem was predicted immediately after you posted your so-called "solution"...
You are using the WRONG sensors for the WRONG board.

What are the "sensor" should I place in this board?
Multiwii GUI connection "on screen" detected all sensor are functional and are moving on screen...(if loaded "configh $" wrongly it will still move ?)

                Attached Files

Go to hobbyking's product page where you ordered this FC... I'm pretty sure theres a list of sensors on board there. If not just google it. Use that to create your config.h file using the config.h creator link i provided earlier.

Haven't got time to write a step by step guide right now. let me know if you still have trouble.

I manage to get the motor started up, by following this youtube link
(benefit of those that wanted the firmware are in wite's website)

After loading the firmware, upload and multiwiiGUI , all start to alive with full function.

lastly I adjust the source code in "configh $" and is responded to value setting.

Next is to "Test" fly, and fixed the GPS.

So in all.. is the MultiWii PRO FC w/MTK GPS Module control board a good choice?

Not ideal for a beginner or anyone who isn't tech savvy. This is way too complex for most flyers I've spoken to.
I would highly recommend a KK2 or a Naza+GPS for the majority of people.

Unless you are VERY tech savvy, want tons of sensors and autonomous flight, love to meddle with gadgets, don't mind spending time tweaking/tuning flight performance and are not intimidated by configuration files and software compilers then this is the board for you.

If you just want to fly... then just grab a KK2 or Naza... they simply work better out of the box with minimal technical skills.

If you want to fly a highly advanced robot with incredible potential and a vast and constantly expanding feature set... then the ArduPilot Mega (and it's cheapo MultiWii/Megapirate clones) are waiting for you!!!

Soon this one will rule https://pixhawk.ethz.ch/px4/modules/px4fmu, combine with https://pixhawk.ethz.ch/px4/modules/px4flow for computer vision.

Arducopter software now being migrated to this board.

Can't wait! The APM board has reached it's limit in terms of processing power... the px4 is gonna be awesome! But I think you have to give it another 9 months to year or so to get there...

It doesn't fly very well or do very much right now unfortunately...
