    I am new to heli.

    Hi heli pilot,

I just started my heli hobby few month ago.
And I bought mini cp. And hover and fly around my living room.

I wan to try to build my own trex 250. With robird.
    What u guys think?

I live Near bedok reservoir. Any pilot live Near here?

If you haven't purchased a kit, Try to go for a 450 or above machine if you can afford it. It's much easier to learn and parts are the same or cheaper than a 250.

Robird is good, 250 is not. Go 500 for instant gratification.

500 share packs with 600 while a 550 share packs with 700. Make ur choice wisely.
Recommend to skip the 250s and 450s go straight to 500s or 550s.
                  Too many helis!

3s2200mah cannot be used for helis of other sizes. If you go for 450L 6s setup, can still shoot for 12s rex500, super steam!

                        450 pocket more relax.
Bigger sizes everything blows up to mind boggling craze.
But i definitely dont recommend smaller than 450.
                        Its too small.

Since nobody mentioned about the Robird, i shall comment.
Its a pretty good gyro. Very stable in the air.
But more importantly, which i couldnt understand how it works, but taking off with robird is so much easy. I didnt have to worry of heli tilting to the left or toppling over. Most gyro seems to have a bad issue of tipping over if the heli was moved or tilted in the hand while being carried to the flying spot, not so for robird.
I can power it up, wait for initialize, then carry my heli side ways, upsidedown or any other odd position, then place itmon the ground, wiggle the right stick a little, spool up, and it goes into the air pretty much vertically up.
Flew some other brands ( 2 different brands ) and they dont exhibit such tolerance and precision.
Maybe is my setup, lack of it in the other two brands, but at least it prove robird is smply easier to setup.

I would like to go for a bigger one. If I can afford.
Seem like 450 still affordable for Me.
