Sometimes Old but quality stuff still not so bad. Lousy attitude service with inferior stuff quipped with horrendous pricing...
How to support lhs? Internet buying gt parts readily available, customer-orientated n cheaper!

I would suggest Logo 600 SE. With SE, u can fly 690mm blades. Then buy 600 boom n belt and fly 600mm blades. One heli, two different size option.

Anyway, I dun blame the LHS..
They have to give in to the power of the Internet.
As they have very little overhead compare to LHS
Sometimes, it's hard for them to survive.

I will only buy the stuffs the LHS don't have online.

I have more or less decided to buy the Trex 700 DFC Combo (Standard Servos, No 3GX), which costs about S$1,500. A Goblin 630 or 700 combo will be well more than S$2,000. Friends also told me that I will not fly it so often if it is a Goblin or Logo due to fear/worry about crash, lol (there is some wisdom in this). So, I think I should buy a Trex 700 DFC as training heli, and later buy a Goblin as "show case" heli?

I will be mounting the SK720 and GPS on it. Bought the BE combo set from Zenm Tech, came with free LCD terminal and power bus. LOL.

I am afraid it will not be ready this weekend. Too many things to do this week.

Sure. The setup of SK720 is similar to SK540 except 720 has auto level, vibration log and GPS capable. SK720 should fly the same way and feel as SK540. I don't think I will do the auto level test. lol.

Due to pressure from some bros, I worked "OT" last night to try to complete the build. LOL. Managed to complete the build except the GPS.
I did the basic maiden this morning just to check the head speed and the basic FBL settings & gains. Everything was okay.

Managed to mount the GPS and completed the build this afternoon. Now need to fine tune the FBL settings and GPS setup.

All parts are stock except the FBL/GPS.

                              Some pictures.

Maiden was ok except tail cw not locked. It is ok now.

I have to relocate the SK-GPS module as it was interfering with the canopy.

The new location is just on top of the rear ESC mount.

In order to mount the GPS module on the ESC mount, I need to make a simple structure using a few pieces of CF.

Next, I am going to test the various GPS flight modes (position hold, altitude hold and home) and also the rescue modes.
