    New Heli Advice

    Hi,

I have reached a point that I need to buy a 12S heli. LOL.
My problem is I don't know which to buy. It will be used for basic 3D training.
I would like to seek some advice and suggestions here.

The following is the list of heli I have in mind.

    - Logo 600SX
    - Goblin 630
    - Gaui X7
    - Trex 700 DFC
    - Agile 7.2

    Thank you in advance.

Bro my I'm flying goblin 700. My suggestion is 700 size will be better. I like my goblin. Just a little input.

Others include Logo 700 and Compass 7hv. I personally like compass 7hv. My other 700 size heli is Alees Rush 750. For 12s capable, you can consider Trex 600, 6hv too.
        Too many helis!

power to weight ratio with 12s: 6hv nothing even comes close. Actually the 6hv is kinda like a stretched 550. I really miss it...
          Heli-ADDICTION:
          Mikado Logos, RaptorG4s, X7F, 600ESP...
JUST one more Logo...for the month.

TS, since u are gonna learn 3d on the bird, better to get one that's more resilient and parts are readily available. btw 12s3000mah vs 12s5000mah is quite a bit of difference. I hv a 700e which is grounded cos I refuse to spend my hard-earned $ on huge-a** lipos. NITRO rocks!!! LOL!

Thanks. I am thinking about the following:
              1. Ease of handling in term of inverted flying.
              2. Can survive better in a crash, i.e. less part damages during a crash.
              3. Spare part price (reasonable) and availability.

I heard Goblin 700 is the old design, the new and improved one is 770. But 770 seems too big for me.

Ok, thanks. Will consider the 6hv. Not sure part availability is an issue, I suppose not?

Hi why don't try the KDS 700.The parts are quite reasonable can get from local and overseas.

I had a KDS 550 before, I wasn't too happy with the quality of their parts. But, I am considering their Agile 7.2 as this is designed by an Italian designer. But then again, the parts are made in the same KDS factory (I think), so I am really not sure if Agile 7.2 is a good choice.

6hv or any compass parts are readily available locally. Hardcore support. 6hv is a tough bird engineered with thick plates.

Apologies guys not to brag but after starting off with Gob 630, I no longer fly any other brands.
All my fleet are Goblins. Even the 500 fly like no other heli in its class & the biggest advantage
for me is visability. The Gobs are pretty tough in crashes. Believe me I had my fair share in crashes
