Mike, the price is including shipping and the alu auto rotation hub.
It's a good deal, Sly's charged me only US$8 for the shipping and the postage stamp on the box reflected US$32.xx.
I may be there earlier, need to sort out my schedule.
I need to do some work on the heli. Flybar was not smooth enough, can't get it to hover on one spot. The motor (Hacker B40-7L) I used was not suitable, need to change that. I may bring it down to the funfly on wed to test it again after sorting out the above problems.
I wanna thank frank for letting me fly the bird....
1. like frank said...the motor is not suitable...so it was bogging quite a bit....the prospecs are there though...much much easier to hover than the feda...hehheh..and I can feel it to be as good as the Shuttle..once the motor issue has been resolved..
2 Very very pressurising...very expensive bird to crash so I didn't dare do much...and there's the motor issue...maybe Chan's china BLM can make it...if the spec is as good as they claim....
3. Frank...the 401 will need a stable RPM to work well...or at least fast enough..and constant....if possible...if not the tail will give some problem....
4. Just a thought...any chance of having a governor on the bird???
Overall with the above issue solved I think we're ready to see some loops and rolls from Frank...
Arthur, you read my mind. I am going to get the China BL motor from you know who and a new brushless ESC with governor. Should be ready for wed funfly if I can make it on that day.
I wont give up trying to persuade you to own an e-bird in the future. Seeing you just step up immediately to trim his heli was really something. I know the e-birds dun match up in a lot of ways- but it's the closest one can get to fly-anywhere any-time.
And cool to see other people like William and Airtrekker!( sorry I forgot your real name ) Probably we should organise a big outdoor meeting one day. Anyway, it's possible to "fly" the nitros at the AISS too.
