bros jus to check 1 more thing, i have a aglin 6A BEC 5.1v twoway stepdown voltage regulator. but dun know any bros using it? how it help? any diff? n do i need a 2cell batt to run it whenever i fly?

to power your electronics... meaning that using another 2s for your electronics while your main pack just for powering your motor... as for the step down is for tail servo so some servos are not capable of higher voltages... correct me if i am wrong...

hi Bros, i need some help. i have some prob setting the pitch for my trex 500esp by setting the linkage rod according to the manual wif my pitch at 60 on my transimitter to set the idle to +12/0/-12 is ok but the general pitch cant set as wat it show on the middle stick +5~+6. my on middle stick is like +3. wat should i do to set it right?


can anyone share???

After several flights of testing on 8s, I have concluded some stuff.
8s have tons of power ....
My setup as follows

Scorpion 1210Kv 13T ( reducing to 12T )
Hobbywing 70A HV
2 x 4s/2200mAh/30C
1 x 2s/1000mAh/15C
Big Align BEC ( comes with Trex600ESP package )

I will be doing final adjustments, which is to drop to 12T and maintain 70% straight curve on idle, and also to lower the pitch by at least 1.5 deg. On GOV low now, headspeed is very constant. Even when pitch is set high, bogging is not heard, but can be felt when charging lipo. Tic toc at last min of flight still have the punch and little bogging.
5min flight will leave me almost 1900mAh depleted. The flight is full of stick banging on high pitch curve, so I would safely say 6min of mild stick very possible.
CG is just right.

Satisfactory testing of new setup.

Now Scorpion 1210Kv on 12T. With throttle curve 75% straight on idle. After 4.5min of flight, I landed. Lipo was 51-54 deg, kinda hot. Motor was 50ish deg, expected. BEC and ESC was cool.
Looks like will need to lower the pitch further, as the punch was more than fantastic for my flying.

any binding occuring on the 3 servos when u use 0 INH 50 INH 100? u managed to get -12/0/+12 with the manual length? whats your swash mix set to? 60%?

ya my dx7 pitch is 60% n i got my idle up +12/0/-12 swee swee, but normal is high+12, mid+4, low-3.

so funny how come like tat?? there is no binding on 3 servo,jus nice lei. Everything follow the manual lei.

what tx are u using? u need to either disable the pitch trim levers or center them
