    OS SF-52 (4 stroke) tuning help needed…

Got this as a trade but I’m having problems trying to fire her up, can anyone help?
I only got the engine alone and don’t have a working heli, so it’s a bit hard for me to work on her. Any help in trying to get her working would be greatly appreciated. I just want to know if it’s even working. ...b4 looking for a heli to fit her...
The only time an aircraft has too much fuel on board is when it is on fire !!!

four stroke for a heli means more cost and more headache. Whichever heli u buy, u must get a 4stroke conversion kit.

Just found out that the compression is pretty low, any idea how to replace the sleeve and barings?

hey just a question to anyone; do you know how much it cost to send the engine back to OS for servicing, through the rap like the SHS? has anyone done this b4?

Most probably the valves are gummed up and does not seal properly. Flushing it with some fuel and adjust the tappets you might get the compression back.

The 4s conversion kit cost as much as the engine itself.

          Good luck

no idea on how to handle four stroke...

not trying to demoralise you or what lah, but four stroke and heli just don't go together...the os fs52 in a heli with 20% nitro will not even go near the power of a os32 on 15%...

sending that thing back to os and repair and getting the conversion kit will probably cost more money and effort than to get a sxh 50...
