Wanted to muck around with off-roaders and I used to have the likes of the Frog and Hornet as a teenager. What I'm keen to know now is what's changed since then. Noticed kits like the Hornet and Hotshot are still around. Then there's the Avante and Egress now.
What's the difference in these kits now? I can see the diff in 2WD and 4WD. But surprised lipo batteries aren't in the mix. The price range of the Egress is on one end of the scale.
Hope someone can share some basic considerations for off-roaders from my initial Tamiya exposure. Else I was going to get one of the newer Tamiya Hotshot models.
