Many of the SAW Guys say that the "old-school" Schulze 40.160WK to date still is the Best Choice for a SAW set-up. It is quite a challenge to find and acquire a pair of these in "like-new" condition. The Greater challenge is, "How to mount the pair securely into the narrow HPR C5009 Mystic?"

At one point, I honestly was almost set to sell these pair and get the smaller Modellbau-Regler AS26-200 or Modellbau-Regler AS26-150 BL Evo II.

Punisher 67 mount

I am genuinely happy that with the help of Punisher 67, the pair of SAW Monster with the bulky additional caps, sits quite securely almost Perfectly. I am very happy with whole the set-up. We have done what we can and genuinely hope that all works fine on her maiden. I just need to work on a Lipo Pack and RX mounting. Soon we will be all set for the maiden.

Tonight was my first attempt to power-up the set-up using a 4PK. Well, the ESC would arm, but the motor would not respond to throttle inputs. I checked the setting and realized that I forgot to switch the RX setting to "normal" What a Relief!

There is a guy in the German Forum selling a pair of RARE and well "sought after old-school" Schulze 40.160WK. 1 is new the other slightly used. I think it is a good/fair market price!

The Schulzes "old-school" ESCs are strongly recommended for SAW Applications and a perfect mate for the LMTs. .
