Ecube charger Power setup for lipo 5200mah 6s

Lipo charge And power setup for 5200mah battery with ecube A1 charger.

Need to select the "Pack. Volt." to 22.2V / 6S, according to your battery.

Need to set the "Capacity" to "5200mAh", according to your battery.

Once the Capacity is set to 5200mAh, the charger will automatically suggest the charging current of 5.2A.

However, although A1 charger max charging current is 10A, but its max power is 100W.
When the cells close to fully charged, the voltage is 4.2V per cell. This means the total voltage is 25.2V (4.2V x 6).
The power is 25.2V x 5.2A = 131W, this exceeds the max power of A1.
So, you need to reduce the charging current to lower than 4A.

What should be the amount in output volt, current and max power in Power Setup?

For the 6S1P 5200mAh battery, the settings should be as follow:

              Pack Volt: 22.2V/6S
              Capacity: 5200mAh
              Current: 3.9A
End Volt: 4.2V/Cell (fixed value for all Lipo batteries, nothing to do with no of of cells or capacity)
              CHG Mode: Balance

                  Hi,

The current should be 3.9A, not 5.2A
Set the current at 5.2A will cause the power to exceed 100W

                  Pack Volt: 22.2V/6S
                  Capacity: 5200mAh
                  Current: 3.9A
End Volt: 4.2V/Cell (fixed value for all Lipo batteries, nothing to do with no of of cells or capacity)
                  CHG Mode: Balance

Also, do you connect the balance cable of the battery to the charger ?

Please post photos of your wiring (between your charger and battery) and setup.

You can try lower the current further, say 3A.

You need to connect the main cable of the battery (the yellow connector with the red/black cable) to the charger.
This is the main charging connection.

I think I need another cable to join it to the charger. That’s all I got.
