help - scavenging an edf motor

    hi all.

today, one of my friends passed me his spare motor in an edf casing.

it used to belong in a Hobbyking DH Vampire.

I can't seem to remove the shaft adaptor for the motor!

    anyone with experience can help?

Strange... looks like a collet-type prop adaptor.

If that's the case, then the collar is just wedged in tightly by friction. Pull off the collar? That's the only way to loosen the grip of the collet on the motor shaft.

          ok, it's out!

6x5 on a 3s should make it nice and fast.
