    Proboat Riverjet

It has been some time since I got a new boat. This riverjet caught my eye and there was a secondhand unit at DH marketplace selling. Got it.

However, upon closer inspection, the impeller has broken inside. Was so grateful that they seller knowledge the defect and got me the replacement impeller from Ken at RCS. After receiving the new impeller, I replaced it and at the same time greased the prop shaft. There was still residual grease on the shaft.

Put her in the water just last Sat morning. It ran ok. Was not used to its steering. You need to throttle up to steer the boat, unlike regular boats with rudder. Also too much steering at speed will cause the boat to spin out. This is all new to me. My first jet powered boat. It is still stock setup. Need further running to get myself used to its handling. If you looking for speed, then this boat will disappoint you. But it was fun to drive it.

A potential to be a great rescue boat!!!
