    Diatone Tyrant 180

    Hi all
Purchase my new "toy" on last week. It is Diatone Tyrant 180 size QuadCopter.
    I will be using:
ESC: 4x of DYS XM20A, upgraded to BLHeli firmware of 14.6
Motor: Reusing my existing MultiStar Elite 2204, 2300KV
Propeller: Undecided to for 2 bladed propellers (4x4.5) or 3 bladed propellers (4040) yet.
    Battery: 4S 1400mAH
Video camera: Foxeer 520 line CMOS PAL.
Video TX: Reusing my existing Aomway. Can't remember the wattage.
Remote RX: Hitec Optima 6, but using different firmware that allow PPM output.
Flight Controller: Was intended to use Holybro Rac32, but replaced by clone SP Racing F3.

Here is the look of the messy cables. This frame is really very tight space. No place to put the Micro Minim OSD, let alone the Hitec Optima 6.
Too bad Hitec do not have satellite type of receiver. Maybe Hitec Minima 6 maybe able to place inside these cramp space frame.

I am very reluctant to cut the ESC cable to very short. I also reluctant to cut the motor wires short. So, I leave the motor cable wires intact but cut ESC cable short but not too short.

My newly purchase Holybro Race32 is Dead on Arrival. When powered up, it can connect to Cleanflight, but STM32F3 microcontroller go very hot in just a few seconds and the VBat readback is wrong. 3S batteries shows as 27V. When readjust the voltage scale in cleanflight, the 4S showing another value.
Send email to Holybro but for 2 days, no reply.
I decided to swap it my other existing Flight controller instead. It is clone of SP Racing F3.

Here is the complete assembled Tyrant 180. Ignore the mixture of 2 propellers and 3 propellers. It is just for the comparison between if using 2 or 3 blades propellers

Since the optima 6 is too big, I have no choice but to mount it outside the frame instead. (Between the 1st and 2nd motor).

The Micro Minim OSD, I place it on the top. (That location was design for putting some action camera like mobius).

Hopefully, this coming Sunday can test fly it.

As mentioned above. I bought 2 pairs of 2 bladed and 3 bladed propellers. I not confirm whether to use 2 bladed or 3 bladed propellers yet. I purposely put 2 bladed and 3 bladed propellers just for visual comparison on that photo.

                Thanks.
Maidened it! Love it. It is fast. Tried my first flip on Sunday but turns out to be more like a tumble (no crash). This is due to my wrong stick manoeuvre.
Yesterday tried again to flip and successful. This time I also use Airmode during flip.

Overall.. Good! Small, fast and do not need big battery.

Strange...now I cannot edit my previous post.
                  Never mind.
I tried both 2 bladed and 3 bladed propeller. In terms of power, I prefer 3 bladed instead.
