    Power Supply Very Hot

Hi, does anybody know where I could have it fixed or have it look at?

It's a HP DPS-1200FB, server power supply converted unit, for my charger. Gets hot after a few minutes when switched on. And gets hotter every minute.

Any idea where I could send it to?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Mave, I have two same ps. Fan on each were turn on, the moment the ps were switched on.

First time using the power supply, I bought it used. It's paired with iCharger 4010 Duo.

      1) Have two of them together. Each ps output is 12V, 100A, 1200W So if I switched on one, it's output is 12V. When switched on both it's 24V output.*

      2) I was just using the storage charge mode, each cell started around 3.80V and ended at 3.85V.*

The ps was set on 12V output and also on 24V output. Each time the charger readings were good, just that the power supply became very hot. Even when not connected to charger, just switching on the ps alone. The same thing happened.

Guess I should start looking for a brand new ps haha.

      Thank you Mave.
