If you are using Spektrum Tx, try the following steps.
1. After you have assigned all the switches and the direction of all channels are set correctly. Connect the APS-M to the PC and run the setup program.
2. Power up the multicopter, and see that the APS-M is connected to the software.
3. Activate the "Home" switch (i.e. turn on Home switch), you should see that the software indicates the switch is in the "ON" region.
4. Increase (or decrease) the travel of the Home switch (at ON position) until you see the software indicates that the switch is in the "FS" region.
5. Turn off everything, and proceed to re-bind the TX and Rx. During the binding process, make sure the Home switch is in the "On" position before you turn on the Tx for binding.
6. After the binding process, adjust the travel of the Home switch "On" position back its normal value.
7. To verify if failsafe is working, connect the APS-M and run the PC software. Turn off the Tx to see if the software indicates Home switch is in FS region.
