    Pusher aircraft with DIY launch are particular more dangerous if your are a right handed and on mode 2 TX, because you have absolutely no control on the aircraft in the initial toss. Most people in this mode learn to toss the aircraft high and hard with the motor off.
    I am on mode 1, so have the advantage of right hand toss cause my left stick has both elevator and rudder controls. The trick is to toss up and put down the tossing hand quickly. The other alternative is to have a pusher prop gaurd installed at the tail to prevent prop strike during a launch.
