    64mm ducted fan build

    Hi all gurus


    need help in this matter. i'm looking to scratch build. my skysurfer is getting a little boring and i'm looking to scratch build a foamy.

    anyways, i intend to get these few items. would the battery and motor and esc match well?

      I really think that a 3800kv motor is too low for a 64mm fan , even if you run it on 4s. A minimum of 4500kv is required for this small fan. Thanks for reading.

        Wrong. 3800kv at 4s produces quite a lot of thrust for a 64mm. I have his setup and fan. Running 4500kv will fry his motor at 4s. That motor is also rated properly at 40 amps full throttle 4s on a 64mm fan. If he followed your advice he'll have a lot of roasted equipment, besides motor , esc and puffed lipo.
