Weekend build progress went well. I managed to do the multiplex cutouts in the wing to install the wiring harness. Saturday I took 9 hours to install the wing servos and program the throws. Sunday another 5 hours to finish the tail install which was tricky to make sure all was flushed and not interfere with the servo covers. Everything is installed and the plane balanced with simulated weights and batteries. Now time to purchase the power plant. Click image for larger version

Of all the planes built in the last 12 months, this is the most difficult to build as there are a lot of attention to details if gone unnoticed will create problems later. Eg: filing down the wipers so get enough throw. Opening up clevises exit holes so you don't get binding. Gluing the rear servo tray low enough so that servo horns and linkage don't rub against servo covers.

And you got to get the weight distribution right if not you run into balancing issues. Built the rear too light means your front has to be light to balance the plane. And you can only shuff batteries so far back. The long nose makes this tricky.

And for those wanting to order this plane, you need patience of a saint. Current lead time is 9-12 months.
