    Real flight will work. But I using bootcamp

        using phoenix v3 on vmware..works ok with DX8
        Currently learn to hover with:
        Phoenix v.3 (most of the time)
        KDS 450 SV
        Frankencopterstein (HK450GT-PRO+Trex450Pro+Trex450Sport+KDS450+ALZRC)
        DX8
        Project from Scratch:
        Compass 6HV
        Dreaming of:
        Mikado XXtreme, Diabolos, Goblin


        MWTS
        Align Trex 100S-cracked canopy (deep slumber in the box)
        KDS K7X-II with 2 K-8X rx(retired)

          I use this http://heli-x.net/ with native mac OS. Work great for me.

            Not very good with seting up dual boot. Will try Jonathan's suggestion.

            BTW how does HeliX compare to PhoenixRC (Assuming you have used BOTH before)

              Yes I used Phoenix old version. Reflex-X, all very good.
              Heli-X is not bad...however I am not like others who need a very accurate simulator. I don;t usually learn on simulator, i like flying it live more so I don;t need one that is very precise. I use it to get general stick movement.
              Try it out, there is a demo version.
