Nice scale helis but do ask your friend to upgrade his heli's rotor heads to flybarless ones for the scale look.

Will try to remove the motor and swap the coupler by this or next weekend.

        Hi Adrianli,

This guy is not my friend, we met him once few months ago. he was fixing big scale brushless helicos.

As soon as you have settled the coupler problem, you try to make a video.

Last long weekend, managed to make time to remove the defective coupler. The alu coupler doesnt look good for this setup.

Video of her maiden run. CG was out, need to shift batts towards the rear. Prop was cavitating n on turns, prop was exposed due to her shallow draft.

Powered by Neu 2230 1Y motor12S2P 10,000mah lipoProp cut down to 58mm dia.Top speed recorded on Garmin GPS was 48mph

Top speed was recorded at 48mph. I have not squeezed the throttle fully yet and these are very old set of batts.

                      Good evening Adrianli,

I hope you're ok, 48m/h for the first run it's good. with new lipos, different props, you 'll achieve 60 m/h or more

                      take care

                        I am using this :

but no matter how much I tighten, it just doesnt grip the flex cable. Probably too much torque for it to handle.
Hi! I got a bottle of the Loctite 648 Retaining Compound. Used a few drops to secure the prop shaft to the drive cable for the HPR. You are most welcome to have some.

It is not the problem between the prop shaft and drive cable. Its the coupler problem. Has been resolved, changed to my older coupler. It just ran last weekend.

Will run it again this coming weekend. Only have one set of old batts for one run.
