After some initial problem....this heli fly well now.
It is now power by Helicommand Hc3-SX with spektrum Satellite and Telemetry unit installed.

It is a Gaui X4 head, it just got release by Gaui two weeks back.

That also mean I have a compass and a RJX FBL head for sales soon.

Thanks for the words on the paint job.....it is not very nice when you look closely, but it is indeed much better and help on visibility also.



Had three wonderful and successful flights yesterday afternoon in OHR.

It is now running with my Kontronik Pyro 600-11 motor...
Waiting for a few parts to make it more solid....

Finally I think I will have a good flying Gaui X4.

X4 frame is not from Gaui , but from pitchup in Europe who customize it using Gaui parts. I suspect Gaui is coming out with their X4 as the begin to make X4 FBL head , or it could be for their existing carbon 425mm frame which feature push-pull instead of direct to swash.

You can actually get parts from SHS , as all Gaui parts are common between 425,550 and even X5 on most parts like main shaft, tail and TT parts.
Also the two popular, one in HKG and one in Taiwan all carry them.

My X4 can easily get the X5 500mm TT and I can make it an X5 equivalent. Since all main shaft on 425/550/X4/X5 are all 8mm shaft.

X5 is expensive, but you can consider the X5 lite....
If I would to do this again, I would probably get an X5 lite and cut it down to X4 size.

Did some Upgrade work...





Change the TT tail case to X5, quality is much better now...you can see the difference from this picture.
