The HK600 GT is a very good value for money heli comes with all necessary metal parts and carbon fibre frames. The problems I have are the soft screws, the boom and belt are slightly shorter than Align. I changed the main gear, auto rotation gear, main shaft and auto rotation gear pulley to Align ones.

I fly at Pasir Ris, I would prefered to have electronic aids especially there is cross wind the heli would go crazy. Have tried fly a 450 four bladed without electronics stabilization, without wind is ok but if there are cross wind it is very hard to control.

EC145 600 boom and tail question

                          Hi gilera180,
I know this is an old thread but I have a question about your EC145 fuselage.
                          Hope you can help.....

I have a SmartModel EC145 - 600 and I am going to use Trex600/700 (bits from both) mechanics. When I opened the box, I found that the tail fin setup is similar to the full size heli in that the vertical tail fins are set at an angle - pointing slightly to the right. The boom also points to the side slightly
The full size heli is left hand rotation head and the standard Trex is right hand.

Will I need to flip the one way bearing and run the head left hand rotation because of the angled tail fins?
Is it easy enough to learn to fly with left hand rotation head?

Would I be better off sticking with right hand rotation and modify the tail so that the vertical fins face to the left. Not scale I know - I would prefer not to alter the tail...
Will the angled tail fins pose a problem with the right hand rotating head?
Another possibility is to set the fins straight - but again, not scale looking.

Do your vertical fins point toward the right?
Does your boom also point to the side?
                          Hope you get this....

                          Thank you.
                          Jim
