        Yup. Read thru that thread. I think rigidity may not be a big problem due to the size of my design (footprint around 500x500mm).

        I like the look of the Zenbot and the V90 Fireball. I'm on the Fireball's yahoo group. The builder really take pride in his work. I also like the look of the micRo. Cute...

                            ok.... i'm a newbie. so please bear with me. i just gotten some stuffs.



                            Got some linear slides - XYZ axis. Don't have to worry about backlash problem.



                            5 phase stepper motors



                            My control box - where my drivers, breakout board and power supplies are housed.


                            i just fab my motor adapter today, tape the wrong hole size
                            need to drill my motor mounting holes to fit.

                            Still waiting for some parts to power it up to test the motion before i fab the other parts. Hope everything goes right!

                                look expensive too.


                                just for fun, i did a bit of work today too.
                                lazy to drill so i use double side tape again.
                                works fine but i still have a bend lead screw.
