About 3 nites ! ...working about 3 -5 hours per nite.
Initially wanted to airbrush the whole thing in order to keep her light, but discovered that I needed a minimum of 3 coats in order to cover the original paint (2 nites gone) ...got fed up and just hand brushed the green and black over the airbrushed white (all in 1 nite)
Was quite surprised as the extra paint added only 32g to the AUW.
It's not quite finished yet, as you can still see the blue spinner and wheel pants
bro y not continue the checkered design to the ailerons as well. looks like a bit unfinished... just my opinion though... hehehe
I was following the scheme from an original 1:1 scale MX airplane lah !
I love the looks of the the MXS (single seater) and hated the orange/baby blue of the ST model MX2 (2 seater) ...so decided to do a repaint job before flying her.
Refer to the picts of the 1) ST Model ...2) Repainted ST Model ...3) Real MXS Aircraft below
