Thanks again fuse for the info.
Hmmm.... good idea on the conversion of Trumpeter models. But would it be a difficult job water-proofing the hull?

      my sub in box

      Hi captian

This is my sub, YUP still in box. really no time to built.

I believe good builders that able to fit in LEDS and do a good airbrush this will be a perfect sub.

This sub is looking for new owner so that she can be build up and swin..

PM me if you wanna hug her

        Traderghost and Zennith,
Check out this guy's site. He converted the Revell Andrew Jackson,Doyusha U581 and other plastic model kits to RC. You can see how he made each waterproof.

Thanks redboat for the heads-up! The English translation is very difficult to understand as it is a word by word literal translation. Guess I will have to try to understand the original Chinese website. This guy's weathering job is good! Thanks!

                  KILO RC Conversion

My recently acquired 2" sub-driver and fittings kit for converting Trumpeter's 1/144 Kilo class to a working RC submarine.

A little update today. I've marked out the location of the floods holes at the bottom of the hull with help of some drawings enlarged to scale.
