would like to add a few safety tips that i use...

1)if possible, buy some dental floss and use it to tie up connections. its cheap insurance against plugs and wires coming out.

2)tie down components with rubber bands. i use those livestrong kind of arm bands to tie down receivers. they are just the right size and tension.

3)make sure your wires are routed such that when a servo moves, the wires would not get cut.

4)if not sure about integrity of aerial during transport or area due to proximity to other sources of radio noise, do range check.(antenna down, walk to 20m without glitching or going into fail safe)

5)do a once a week post flight maintenence while cleaning your heli. i find alcohol from pharmacies removes exhaust oil well. while cleaning, just check stuff out. the alcohol removes oil which may enter servos and foul them up

that's about all for now...safe flying for everyone

Hmm charge over night at 0.2amps or charge and decharge the batts like 4 - 5 times.

It happen to me twice before, luckly i never crash. Last time when i got my new Ni,Cad Batts then i ask my friend test flight, then suddenly the batt went dead but i remember i did a full charge b4 i left the house. but luckly never crash, manage to land it down.

The 2nd time it happen to me was around 1 - 2 weeks ago. when i was testing my new bird with the new Rx futaba batts, i also never do the 'cycle' then after 1 min of hovering, suddenly engine went dead, and luckly it 'auto' down nicely & softly. Then later i tried to start the engine again. Then i relise the batt is dead

                    Some safety tips

                    1. check all batteries ( TX and RX batteries) make sure they are all slightly above the safety point of usage

2.After taking off, u may want to hover awhile just to make sure the fuel from the main tank flow into the spare tank.

3.if u are doing 3D and u find the cyclic not as responsive or the tail not holding as usual, the battery might have flatten, land the heli and check the battery voltage.

thats all for all now guys cool & safe flying
