                      Great!

I came in just in time for the photo shoot. Thanks man. Anyway the "stealth" you mentioned is actually an electrajet with a broken nose. No time to fix the nose, just want to get it in the air cos airtime is limited. Will fix it for next fly-in. Amazing isn't it the CG was way out, yet it flies...that's the electrajet for you guys.
Go back in one piece to fly another day.

I see two sets of the choices of planes I'm thinking of getting

                          1) the EPP REno Racers from SHS
                          2) the EPP Mustangs from Jet

may I know how they fly and what their configs are?

Is the Jet mustang very heavy?

                              hi microhelinut

The mustang is by far one of the best flying plane i have ever had. However, some mods are needed. Mine was the guinea pig for flight tests. I found that it was tail heavy. To get this right, the power system had to be around 150gms which means that whatever you put in the nose: the motor, mount, spinner and prop give or take 10g. I think it was designed to fly with a 400 size brushed motor. I had to add about 40 grams of lead in the nose and use a big spinner as my inrunner 2015 tahmazo motor only weighs abt 49gms. Besides this, you need to change the incidence of the flying surfaces to give about 5mm down or negative incidence just like the GWS zero. I chose to put on 5mm positive incidence on its tail surface. this way the changes cannot be seen. Give it the right power system this lil guy will rock. It is stable and does not tip stall so easily unlike its cousin from GWS. Plus it is made of EPP. So even the pogo stick maneuver will not hurt it greatly. Build it as light as possible and throw it hard into the wind. put on max throw on the ailerons and about 15 to 20mm on the elevator and fly it like the warbird it is: gently and smoothly and soon you will be making victory rolls and strafing runs.
So after i have gotten it right my friend leon just had to make the same mods and his flew like a dream from the maiden until today. of course sans pilot error like last weekend when he had to do a death dive to avoid a head on with a full size taxi.

                                Day of the P-51

                                Hi all,

Since there are so many partflying P-51 Mustangers out there can we have this weekend (sat) as a P-51 day.

It will be cool to get Pics of different schemes of P-51 doing fly passes. ...

... ME109 pilots, zero pilots are also welcome of course... heh..heh..

                                Cheers,
                                Leon
