        Continued

Now that both retract boxes are finished and the center doors have been fixed I need to close the middle part of the fuselage again.
(before I do that I installed a tension wire to push the door covers closed when the wheels are retracted)

DOOORSSSSS CLOSED ------ AMAZING IT WORKS
(ok still a bit of fine tuning required but they close and open with a small gap)

                      Nice Retracts

                      Hi Eric,

Nose job! Nose job! I wanna see the nose retract job!

The part that the metal rod inserts into the retract looks like a potential weak point. How did you reinforce that part? Just epoxy?

                      Yeek

                        Hi Yeek,

Work has kept me away from the nose job for quite some time
I will post new pictures in a week or so (I hope).

I used epoxy to keep the wire strut from turning in the retract mount. The mount itself is strong enough to hold the wire. I will find out when it is all together I guess - the battery adds quite some weight: FlightPower 3700 4S.
