If you have after-run oil, you can use it.

please use only air filter oil.
there is a reason for this.
as the oil will dry up and leaves a takky coat over the foam to trap dirt.

copied this from a good site abt it. dont save on air filter oil to kill your preious engine.

Most nitro engines ship with an air filter specifically designed for that engine. You will find that nearly all replacement filters for that engine are of the same type. Some upgrades might use another type of filter, but you should stick with the filter that was designed for your engine.

Unless of course the documentation for your engine states otherwise or mentions alternative air filters that will work with their model.
All air filters come with a special type of oil called air filter oil. It is important that you this oil properly and as instructed in the user’s manual that came with your engine. Always use the exact same oil that came with your air filter, or air filter oil that is of the same type. This is important because some air filter oil will not work with all air filters. If your documentation says to use ONLY their oil with their filters, it is wise to adhere to that warning. Some air filters will be damaged if you use the wrong type of oil.

I tot people use WD40 as after run oil for *certain engines*... not as air filter oil...

The replacement for air filter oil, I think is one of the engine oil... of a particular vicosity..... But.. just go buy a bottle of air filter oil lar... not that expensive.. and last very long...

I know of someone who drives a 2.5L SUV and pumps 92 octane fuel :L :L

Anyway, as long as the specified by the car manufacturer and there's no pinging, its safe to use 92 octane petrol :D

Hmmmm... maybe all my bianged engines are due to the singer oil :L :L but I very hungry for speed too :D
