Charging Two 3S at the sametime

Hi,

Want to know if anyone have charge two 3S together?

That is two 3S ( of the same model and capacity ) and have them connected external in series ? Reason is to have both 3S charged in 1hr.

Will probably use 2 3S balancer to ensure all 6 cells is balance.

My charger Tahmazo T26 can charge up to 10 lipo.

Want to know if anyone have try this ?

But u must know the capacity left in the 2 batts. If the 2 batts are off different capacity, then cannot leh.

Understand what you are saying...however I don;t think it matters. As when I charge one 3S today, each of the 3 cells are not balance after a flight. So charging one 3S also means I don't know how much capacity is left in each of them. They are charge in series as 3S.

You can do that with balancers connected to each cell.
But both packs must be close in terms of used capacity if not your balancers will be working overtime and eventually overcharge cells that are full

so I just check each cell voltage to ensure they are similar, correct?
Similar between 0.5V difference is ok?

Don't charge 3x 3s in series. it can be done with the above recommendations but even then it's not very safe.
If u want to fast charge a couple of packs at once, please get the PolyCharge4 from greatplanes

I heard abt t10,126, something MKII. Is is true that only MKII can only charge up to 2 batt at once?

Read abt the triton.How many types of triton are there?Saw a red one and a yellow one.

If you are referring to T10 and T26 : These can charge 1 pack at a time (1pack could be 3S or 2S or mfor T26 up to almost 8S or 9S (forgot).

Hi, just want to share my experience with charging 2 X 3S in series with 2 balancer. I am currently fly a 8S powered electric heli (approx 30size glow) am using 2 X 4s in series. I always charge them in series with the schulze Is 6-330 and always with a balancer to each pack and it seems to be working well. So I think the criteria is that to charge the 2 packs in series : 1) pack must be of same capacity and 2) pack to be used as a set so to ensure that discharge rate is the same. Hope this helps
