    Some advise needed

    Hi,
I am new in here. I have got a battery operated Buggy. Recently i have used the charger provided to charge my 7.2 volt battery. However when i switch on the charger, there is a chao ta smell coming out from it.

The charger have a small red bulb on it. At first, the red bulb emit red light but a few min later, the red light diminished.

Is it that the charger is burn? Any idea what results to this? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Something is short circuited it seems.

Unplug your charger, dismantle it and see if any bare contacts that shouldn't be touching are in contact.

      Charger must be UNPLUGGED!

I cant seem to open the charger.. Coz it is not tighten by philip head screw but instead it is tighten by allen key kind of screw. Can advise how to open?
If i would like to buy another charger, how much would it roughly cost?
