    1050Mah with ordinary wall lipo charger?

    you shld know the mAh for your charger....for 1050mAh cell...yr charger should not exceed 75% of the max abt 780mAh....min 500mAh will take you about 2hrs to charge...not to overcharge and not to drain more than 5% of yr voltage...

    correct me if I'm wrong guys

      this wall charger indicate output: DC 8.4V 1.0A

      so will it be 1 hr to charge 1050 mah batt?

        Did u buy together with the batt? It seems quite high to me....Is yr batt 2S or 3S? If so, then shld be no prob....ritefully....it shld take abt 1hr based on yr charger....but on the safety side....before charge...use a multimeter (1 simple digital one can be bought at SLT for 13 bucks) to measure the Voltage first....if at the optimum Voltage...then take about 30mins to charge and measure the V again....yr V shld not exceed 8.4 for a 2S.

          frankly i have no idea.. it sooo hard just to charge a batt..
          hmmm think will charge less than 1 hr...

          will get a peak charger soon hopefully...

            R u sure your wall charger is certified to charge lipos? Post a pic of it to make sure.

              I got myself 1....but only for 2S...its a switching adaptor bought from Jet Hobby...for Lithium Poly and LiPo

              yup...u got to make sure its for LiPo and not for NiMh or NiCad

                yes.. this one is only charge lipo... come together with the batt..
                i have other charger for nicad and nimh...

                  yah...I concur...when I just started out...I even went to SLT to customise my own batt...then ppl say Lipo lighter and better and it proves correct as my beaver just cant fly...so changed...then next dilemma came whether to get a 2S or 3S....3S no adaptor to charge...need to buy another 12V batt to charge...so lehchek...so in the end..stick to 2S

                    haha.. me still cannot grasp about lipo thingy.. yes i know.. it lighter and can last much longer than other batt.. but come this about discharge.. how many continuous and surge thingy.. im totally gone.. and when u mention about measuring and checking the voltage.. i just go...'oh my God'.. haha

                    and last sunday, i joined flyers at JW.. when they talked to each other about motor.. wat gear box.. ratio.. esc.. ics.. bla bla bla...
                    my jaw dropped.. feel want to faint... .. so much thing to learn

                    and now i just take each step slowly... im just a slow leaner.. haiiizzz

                        the naive me thot just buy a kit with motor...then reinforce the kit with filament tape ...get a strong batt to fly longer....my beaver just wont fly...then got to know that 150 is not enough....then change 350...can lift but cant fly...then got to know its the batt...so change to 2S...can lift..fly abit then crash...then got to know its the gear Im using....so finally changed to C gear and viola....after how much of crash courses and burning the pockets...

                        then got to know that its not the ESC that supply current to motor but only regulates...the motor draws direct from the batt via the ESC...so thats why u must know wat Amp yr motor drawing in order not to burn yr ESC,....

                        TAO TIA....dunno wats coming up for me....

                          when i buy my cub at rotor.. i ask the saleman to include all the stuff that needed to fly the plane.. and just pay him..
