confused on the price of savage ss 2.5,4.6 and mt2

ok is the price of the rtr savage ss2.5 600+ and the savage rtr 4.6 is 700+.

the mt2 should be 500+ rite.

are this prices correct and r they rtr which means take out from box and play.

I think HPI likes to play with numbers to confuse ppl. First it's Savage 21, then Savage 25 and now Savage 4.6. Then out of no where there's Savage 3.5! To the unsuspecting ones, it would seem that 4.6 is a huge power increase from 25. Scary power here!

And then a 3.5? Should be better than Savage 25 right?

.25 cubic inches = 4.1cc
.28 cubic inches = 4.6cc

So ppl who buy the 3.5 will end up having a .21 engine. And a mother of engine 4.6 is actually a .28!

I think it was all started by Traxxas. Not so long ago .21 was the mother engine for MT's. Anything less means chey, no power. T-Maxx is a 1/10 sized MT and it's engine is only .15. By clever marketing, they called their engine 2.5! Many ppl will not see the difference between .25 and 2.5!
