How to use temp Sensor on charger

Was wondering how you put this sensor on battery? Anyone have a pic?

If I am no wrong, my friend just leave it on the top of the battery pack while charging.

please read the instruction, everything is there.
make sure the black sensor (the black tip)always touch your battery. remember to set the cut off temp. value in the charger
