Finally it is done. Metal oval links and tail control lever from Helibits.co.uk.

Very good customer service from Mr.Alan.

The tail control lever was modified with 2 bearings instead of spacer.

Has anyone tried the metal tail casing? Metal Casing

have you checked out chan ..by the looks of it the CNC tail rotor is the same as the one he sells .( and the one I used for the the FBL hornet)

although i've never used it, seems that everyone who has used one on runryder seems to have the tail case fail only after one flight, resulting in a horrific crash. not my opinion, but can try and tell us the results

Hmmm..interesting, a simple tail case can cause a crash.

Found out first hand from someone on RR that this problem exist! Looks can be deceiving...

In Total all the alum, silver, blue, plus the stainless steel stuff should hit Total $750 by now

Might as well continue all the way including carbon upgrades until this heli is R50 V2 SE......

nice idea...hmm...I wanted to do exactly that...just cannot bring myself to make the bird too precious to crash...that'll hinder progres for me...just fly things as they are and thrash the bird...and learn all my tricks...

Yes, I agree. But I feel so satisfied putting all the parts together. And this bird will only be going thru sport flying and not attempt any hardcore 3D......not like I know how too anyway.

Maybe get another and fly/learn new tricks with stock parts.

But, IMO, no matter what aircraft I fly, I feel they are always at the mercy of freq interference. So even one day when (IF) I have learn all the tricks there's no gurantee the heli will not crash.
