    10 Jul JW FunFly

Hi happen to be the only one with the camera as the regulars were not with us. So was given this honor to put up pics this week .

First up : Nic's GWS Beaver and Loyn's home made pusher

Then the indestructible EPP plane ( Sorry I forgotten to ask for your name ). Incredible plane whose tail portion was held together using magnets and with also easily detachable motor.

Then a pissed off crow came to challenge the EPP. The dogfight lasted almost 5-6 mins. Great piece of flying with the EPP going after the crow. Crow never give up, kept coming but ended up shagged resting on lamp post.

Glider was up next and also a modified GWS Slow stick. ( Oh dear I couldn't recall all your names please fill me in when U see this thread ).

Loyn flew his chloroplast J3 cub too ( sorry I did not capture any pics )

I flew the Akro XE5 biplane and the Daddy-O profile plane. Thanks to the fine weather this morning as the small planes survived the flight. The XE5 strayed and got eaten by the tree - fortunately was rescued . Thanks guys !

Also tried to maiden the depron Tomahawk piper. No luck -- can't fly due to some problem which needs figuring out .. will try again next time.

my, tats my slowstick! here is another pic. quite fun to put spoilers high up. IF there is no power, the plane will slowdown.(its quite fast you noe?) if with power, the nose will go up straight away. I dont use it for landing. its already so slow. More for fun. First pic is when spoilers are activated, second is how it retracts. If you dont activate it, it flies just like any slowstick. Just that it turns better with the extended boom.(higher turning moment).

Wow nice pic ......love the bird fight pic.....didnt aware you were shooting with the camera .....looking at the bird

Infact today can call as unaspected ff ....the origianl plan was just to keep nic company as the core team (fuse, Kelvin, John, Edwin) all were not free....in the end it turn out to be a really fun day up to 10am

Sc fighter thanks for showing and sharing with us your micro flyer.....really good in the air.....even fly as high as we do.... .......for that size and weight that is really something

Having fun with the pusher which is make up of all scrap parts.....cheap and good ....but found a design issue.....cant do loop ......and the micro EDF was not powerful enought to give it good performance....then again still fun considering its my first attemp on a mixed control flying wing....

Pic 1: 40mm EDF with IPS size BLM
Pic 2: wing in prop configuration
Pic 3: wing in EDF configuration
Pic 4: Wing in original 3D plane format

So embrassing as there isn't many people on the field that day. Now I know who exactly is Artyspec and who's Kolekim ( Glider man ). I should be joining Artyspec to fly my SS too in a month's time. Wonder who's the EPP guy ?
