    Question on Chargers

    Hi guys,

I've been looking around and i wanna ask some questions on chargers before purchasing them.
Is it better to get a single function charger li-po charger or a combo one(eg, triton)?
I am interested in getting the triton, but someone told me will burst the li-po? True?
Are there any li-po chargers that i can field charge(using 7.2v Lead acid) and comes with a LCD readout? After some hiccups with those non LCD nicd/nimh charger, they give false peaks and nonsense capacity reading. Or are there any reliable field chargers for lipos?
I dun wan to have so many chargers lying around the place. Already have 3 already.
I am running r/c electric & nitro cars/buggys/MT and wanna start into electric heli..... Sorry if i ask too much qn.

If you have a lot of different batt packs to charge within a time span, it'll be wiser to get dedicated chargers to charge the different cells u have.
(eg. if you're using Lipo only, then get 2x Apache chargers rather than a triton)

Most chargers use lead acid batts or require a 12v powersupply to operate.
Only few chargers are dual powered capable (built in power supply units & 12vDC capable). They are the Speed EX15pro, CDC Eagle AC/DC.

If you need LCD readouts & Lipo capable, then you'll be better off with tritons/Duratrax ICE.
