    servo power comsumption

    is it that standard servo comsume lesser power than high torque servo?

    i have 2 MT running on same power pack, 7.2v. but i notice that the standard servo as steering run longer...

    yes u are right
    digital servo consume even more power!!!!
    i'm a rc sotong. And i know nuts about it.

      The extra torque and speed need extra juice.
      For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

          But if got not enough power to chiong properly then no shiok right?

              No need the strongest steering servo for your MT, just one that's enough. I don't think a standard servo has enough torque. When you corner, you need a strong servo to hold the line, coz the wheels will always try to fight and go straight.

              Unfortunately, a RTR set will give you one that's barely enough. Cost reason obviously.

              For racers running their 1/10 onroad, even a standard servo is not good enough.
              For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.
