Anyone tried to start FAQ on car handling problems?

I don't know how many experienced drivers there are out there, but I'm sure there are new drivers who can benefit from your experience.

I'm wondering if it's feasible to maintain a FAQ on problems encountered by drivers of EP and GP cars.

Maybe even one on how to overcome kit-building problems.

We will just come to this forum to look for answers and not have to scour the Internet for them. And it will have an all-local flavour.

I got one question. Some of the screws on my car cannot be tightened. It just keeps turning and turning but nvr ever get tight. Is it normal?

Yeah that would be good. BTW can i post a question. I bought a secondhand novarossi .15 engine and now i can't seem to unscrew the Glowplug and heatsink from the engine. Is there anything i can do to take it out?

Yeah Haowee same for me. It happen to me when i overtighten the screw the first time. It only occurs when i'm screwing a plastic piece..

we will need information on car what screws which parts and its it a plastic part or could it be a design of the car or you need tread lock to lock it.

problems

unable to tighten the screw that holds the steering bar.( example)
metal to plastic.


advise : check to make sure you are using the corretc size and thread of screw, if yes the plastic mount could be badly enlarged and only a drop of CA might cure it.

mount the engine in your car and use a hair dyer to heat the heat sink till warn, then unscrew it uisng the glow plug wench.

to remove the heatsink , just unscrew the 4 screw in the heat sink using a 5 to 7mm strong flat head screw driver.

If you are running the car on a Silver Can, it's still ok. However, running it with lesser turns motor and you will have the rubber coming out of the rims in the middle of the run.

Why is it that suspension will affect whether or not my car will brake in a straight line or veer off to left/right?

my turn, without any special equiptment, how do i make sure all the camber, suspension, toe-in/out, blablabla is all right? 2nd, how do i make sure that my left and right suspension is of the same height?(mine is the screw adjust type) 3rd, When i whack full throttle on my V1S, the response is so slow....its vrrrroooooOOOOMMMMM. Its not my servos, they are all fast enough.

Your car will veer left or right when your suspension on both sides not balanced. I think so.Slow response nice mah. Like real car.

The camber can use a ruler estimate how much it goes in. The toe in can draw on the paper. One straight line then after u adjust the toe in then draw another line and measure the angle.

slow response bad lah, hit the staights then see my stupid V1S going so slow. My V1RR much faster lor. Immediate one. Hit throttle then the sound comes immediately.

Then dun play nitro. play electric faster response. But I going to buy a nitro car.
