for a company briefing and meeting. After that me and a collegue went to Mid Valley Shopping Centre gai gai... Saw a hobby shop, boy am I excited...
Thinking of buying a Lexan Clear body :love Skali it cost RM129 :z And I saw a HPI Savage which cost RM2999 :knife
Well I thought they would have it cheaper. Most of the nitros there I saw are on-road, CEN.
And... well... next door i saw some Gundam... They sell Master Grade like RM33 (sg cost $59) :S And those in sg cost around $129, they selling at RM99 :bh

You must have gone to ToyCity which if i am not wrong belongs to taising...or at leaset getting stuff from taising. They carry some tamiya and lots of cen stuff. RC prices in MY is known to be VERY ex. Most of them come here to buy. Also they have some of their own LHS other than toycity chain. So you have to have the idea where to go to see real cool rc stuff.

In case you've forgotten, Singapore is a free port, while MY is not. All these imported hobby stuffs are taxed. That's why it's so expensive. I think the gahmen list this category as 'luxury'. :L :L :L

You should go to twin tower. They have a hobby shop also. Quite reasonable. I bargain my HPI R40 from 1600 to 1100.

I was trying my luck man. Firstly i don't know how much it cost in Singapore. So i bargain like hell with the guy. He call the boss twice.. until the boss also give up .

Yeah after i found out that Tai Sing was selling the R40 for 700hundred. I realise i make a good buy. I was just plain lucky.
