Tmaxx front suspension post

Hi...

My tmax had a little bump on last Saturday... and I need to re-align the front suspension post.

The front is slanted slightly towards the body of the truck.
This seem to cause the brake to remaining at engage position constantly.

Is there any manual (or website) anywhere that teaches me which screws to re-adjust?

But if you look at the front and rear suspension posts... they should be parallel to each other... and perpendicular to the truck frame..

The rear is ok..
The front is slanted in such a way that the top end is towards the rear of the truck, while the bottom is towards the front of the truck.
This seem to cause the crankshaft to add pressure on the breaking disc.. causing it to bite.

(Imagine what will happen when an impact to the truck bumper... causing the upper half of the truck to shift inwards...) :bigcry

You mean the shock tower? Think yours wasn't a small 'bump'! :L :L :L Have you gave the whole are a good look? Make sure nothing is broken. Plastic part don't just bend.

The last time I had a small 'bump', the pin at the lower suspension arm was bent. Didn't know wat I was thinking that time, I ran straight to a tree trunk. :freak: :hammer

nic time to overhaul the truck.

take your tiem to strip it apart and rebuilt. should not take more then 2 hrs

I bump my truck into another truck....

the main diff is...
my truck is 1/10.... that truck is 1/1...
and it is its tire that I hit.

Going to take it apart... but with the number of screws and the lack of a proper instruction manual.... :z

:L :L :L I see. Well, happens some time.

Agree the best is to take apart the front section and see. Shouldn't be much problem. Think there's a blowout diagram which you can refer to.

yar... the blow up diagram will make me blow up my Tmaxx. *KABOOM*!

that's why I didn't dare refer to it....
